About the course
This program is designed to enhance students’ understanding of the duties of an entry level human resources specialist preparing them to work in the human resources department of a company. Graduates of this program will know how to manage and resolve questions about compensation and benefit programs. Graduates will know how to ensure compliance with internal policies, state and federal regulations and assist managers/supervisors to create, plan and conduct training for new and existing employees. Graduates will also be able to review and update job descriptions, conduct performance appraisals, administer various HR policies and help managers resolve employee performance and policy issues.
